In Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion PS3 is it part of the storyline to be bitten and become a vampire?

I have reloaded a save to try and avoid the curse but the same happened again. I am worried that if i reload i will have the same again. I also tried to give the witch bloodgrass and she wouldnt accept it. She has accepted everything else just not bloodgrass.In Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion PS3 is it part of the storyline to be bitten and become a vampire?

no you never wanna be a vampire.. if you see vampire dust on them then thats how you know they are vampires. check your active effect for diseases after dealing with them. the ps3 goty edition has a glitch on the cure for vampirism that is difficult to get around. it takes a few days for the disease to give you vampirism so you have plenty of time to cure it with magic or potion.. sleeping will make it kick in quicker also.
