In Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Is it possible to modify the luck bonuses when you lvl up?

You know how if you train in blade skill you add modifiers to your strength points when you lvl up? Can you do the same with luck, or do you have to increase it one point at a time? You can only level up one point in luck, but you can always use a console cheat. Also, if you want to be a better gambler, there is a character in the arena (in the audience, not in the underworks) that has a lucky amulet. You will probably have to find out where she sleeps to get it, though.
