There was Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind as the other person stated. These were the "main series" games. However, there was also Battlespire and Redguard that were released in '98 which were stand-alone games.How many "Elder Scrolls" games came out before Oblivion?
The first was Arena from 1994 and it was for the MS-DOS. then Daggerfall came out in 1996 for MS-DOS. Then Morrowind came out for the xbox and pc in 2002.
