Can you start the oblivion elder scrolls side quests after you finish the main quest?

I know it has lots of side quests such as thieves guild, and dark brotherhood. But i kno a lot of games that have side quests that must be completed while playing the main quest.

i want to do the side quests partly cuz i heard its awesome, and i kinda wanna get the achievements.Can you start the oblivion elder scrolls side quests after you finish the main quest?
Definitely!! In fact, I at first started the main quest only after doing a bunch of Dark Brotherhood quests and some fighters guild, and then randomly looting dungeons, etc. etc.



You can do almost ANY quest (and there are a lot, let me tell you) at ANY time within the game. A lot of the beauty about Oblivion is the open-world free exploration with nonlinear quests. The whole point of the game is to do whatever you want, with any character, at any time.

Yes, you can start them at any time. I finished the Main Quest long ago, and I've only now started exploring some of the Shivering Isles stuff, for example.



One thing: do all the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quests before doing the Knights of the Nine, as they contradict each other as far as your in-game reputation goes.Can you start the oblivion elder scrolls side quests after you finish the main quest?
The main quest has nothing to do with the side ones, so the answer is: yes... It's not like u kill a main character for a side quest in the main quest... So...



But actually, it's better to make the side quests first, because, the gate's of Oblivion 're quite hard, and if you do the side quests, u get some level-ups, so it would be easier so complete the main one...
it's a complete free world game...you can do whatever you feel like doing, i've finished the main story next to last and it won't change a thing, i think it's best to be balanced and change it up a bit, each guild will give you something that will really help but you don't truly need itCan you start the oblivion elder scrolls side quests after you finish the main quest?
You can do them at ANYTIME provided some ( like darkbrother hood and thieves guild ) require you to do something before like steal, kill. But you should do side quests first... you get WAY better stuff i think. Lol honestly i played that game for like 6 months and then i realized i never beat the main quest yet... theres ALOT to do
You can finish the side quests at anytime during the game--even before you finish the main quest.
