Elder scrolls iv: why is my character dreaming of vampires and turning in to one?

is it part of the storyline and how do i get rid of it. also how the hell do i defeat the monsters at the gate of oblivion?Elder scrolls iv: why is my character dreaming of vampires and turning in to one?
Ahh.. you bring back memories.

Okay, if you're turning into a vampire, you must have been bitten by one, either voluntarily, or in combat. Now, there are several benefits to being a vampire, but there is a cure, if you're sick of it. It's not really a part of the storyline, but it's an interesting feature. Chek this link

How do you defeat the monsters at the gate of oblivion? Easy, swing your sword at them. If you want to close the gate, go inside it, then, follow the 'labyrinthal' oblivion plane until you reach the top of the main tower. Once there, you must remove the shining stone, just activate it to take it. You'll then be automatically teleported outside the gate, which is now closedElder scrolls iv: why is my character dreaming of vampires and turning in to one?

yeah. i was a vampire too in oblivion. Sometimes it sucked but most times i loved it. There is a cure however. I think raminus pollus or some other hotshot over at the arcane university has it.

and about those oblivion gate creatures,... HELLO!!! u dont go around the world of oblivion in swimming trunks now, do you?! Swing the bloody sword at them. Cast some spells. Spit in their eyes if you have to.
