You know when u first exit the sewer to that gate how it says edit your race, class, or birth sine. Can u go back there after u left and edit your charaeter? No, you're stuck with him. If you're just on level 4 though, start over. You're still early in the game.

what you do is save the game just before you exit the sewer and never overwrite it.

if you get tired of your character just load that save and create a new one with out going through that whole long and boring opening scene.
